Karting Class Rules

BAMBINO: AGE 5-8yrs

MkI or MkII Comer C50 (Sealed or unsealed). No restrictors required. TYRES: LeCont all-weather or Caget slicks/wets. Fixed gearing: 10t fr x 80t LeCont / 85t Dunlop. Must have Disc & sprocket protectors if protruding below chassis rail.

WEIGHT – No Limit. Number plates Black with White numbers

CADET LIBRA AGE 8 (incl. year of transition) -12yrs

Engines: unmodified 60cc 2-stroke or 160cc 4-stroke, as per MSA rule book. WTP – B5 with exhaust restrictor. Must have Disc & sprocket protectors if protruding below chassis rail.

WEIGHT (min): Comer 99kg. Honda, Iame, WTP 103kg Number plates (MSA)

CADET HONDA AGE 8 (incl. year of transition) -12yrs

Engines: unmodified GX160 4-stroke as per MSA rule book. Must have Disc & sprocket protectors if protruding below chassis rail.

MINI-MAX: AGE 11 (incl. year of transition) – 17yrs

FORMULA 100 (F100) AGE 16yrs

Any 100cc Air or Water cooled, reed or rotary valve. Max. 105cc to allow for over-boring on older engines.Standard 100cc chassis with NO front brakes.Only butterfly carbs (any size). Must have proper intake box and end can exhaust, holes must face downwards. Enclosed chain guard. Must have Disc & sprocket protectors if protruding below chassis rail. Tyres OPEN

Any 250cc Air or Water – cooled engine.with a 5 speed gearbox, and 6 speed provided the engine is untuned. Must have three (3) working brakes. Must have Disc & sprocket protectors if protruding below chassis rail. Tyres OPEN

250 E.- AGE 16 (incl. year of transition) and ABOVE

250cc E karts to run a min. half a lap in front of250 singles. Must have three (3) working brakes. Must have Disc & sprocket protectors if protruding below chassis rail. Tyres OPEN
